An Official Letter to the Church.

Hello RTWM Family

Effective July 1, 2024, Pastor David and Lady Jena will embark on a 30-day sabbatical.

This marks the first time in our ministry's history that we have taken an extended period of rest. Our dedication to serving God’s people stems from our unwavering commitment to Him and the responsibilities He has entrusted to us.

We have reached a point in our lives where taking time for restoration is not only necessary but imperative. Many of you have sincerely encouraged us to do so, and we deeply appreciate your love and support.

The Lord has spoken and declared great things over this ministry. We eagerly anticipate the unfolding of His vision for both of our campuses. After this time of refreshing, we will be ready to embrace the next season of our lives with renewed strength and determination, empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill all that the Lord has assigned to us.

We trust that Reconciling the World Ministries will operate with a spirit of order, cooperation, and excellence in our absence. We rely on the church leadership to be present and attentive in their various assignments, ensuring the continued work of the ministry and the perfecting of the saints. We have great confidence in our leadership team.

We also depend on each member to remain dedicated to attending weekly worship services, growing, developing, and equipping themselves to be effective in their personal lives and in the lives of others.

We sincerely love each of you and feel incredibly blessed to lead such an amazing group of people. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the outpouring of love and support you have shown our family during this season. We pray for God’s blessings, prosperity, and excellent health over your lives.

Please continue to keep the Shipman Family (David, Jena, and Kean) covered in prayer.

In His Service, Pastor David and Jena Shipman
